dVIEWR powered by MICE Toolkit™ is an analysis and visualization software for advanced diffusion MRI data.

It is based on the proprietary algorithms of Random Walk Imaging AB.

1. Purposes and content

CR Development AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of Random Walk Imaging AB (“CRD“, “us” or “we“), are committed to protecting your privacy and your personal data. This privacy notice describes how we process and use the personal data that we receive from you when you visit and use our website, or that you otherwise provide in connection with the license of the dVIEWR powered by MICE Toolkit™ software (the “Product“), what your rights are, and how you can contact us if you have additional questions regarding our processing of your personal data.

The Product is owned and managed by CRD,

1.1 What personal data will be processed?

1.1.1 We collect and process the personal data that you submit when you register your interest of licensing the Product or otherwise when contacting us through our website, such as your name, organization address, email address and particular field of research interest.

1.1.2 We will collect and process the personal data that you provide when you enter into the agreement for the license of the Product and pay the agreed license fee as set out in a separate order confirmation notice. The categories of personal data that may be processed include name and contact details (organization address, email address and phone number) and payment details.

1.1.3 We may also use your IP address and personal data collected through cookies and other automatically collected data.

1.2 What are the purposes for processing your personal data?

The purpose of CRD’s processing of your personal data is:

(a) to collect and register the information that is required to provide you with the requested information about the licensing of the Product or any other enquiry that you might have when contacting us through our website;

(b) to collect and register the information that is required to conclude the agreement for the license of the Product with you and to document, administer and perform the issuance of such license;

(c) for the performance of market analyses, and for system development as a part of CRD’s business development with the intention of improving CRD’s products. Customer analyses are also conducted to provide base data for marketing; and

(d) to administrate and improve the user experience of our website, for our internal records and for statistical analysis.

1.3 What are the legal bases for processing your personal data?

1.3.1 The processing of your personal data for the purposes in Section 1.2(a), (c) and (d) above is based on our legitimate interests of providing you with the requested information, to conduct marketing and business development as well as improving our website and the services available there. We have conducted a balance of interest test and consider that our interest of processing the personal data for the aforementioned purposes overweighs your interest of not having your personal data processed for these purposes.

1.3.2 The processing of your personal data for the purpose in Section 1.2(b) above is based on the necessity to fulfill an agreement with you.

1.4 Who has access to your personal data?

1.4.1 We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss, unlawful access, etc. The number of persons with access to your personal data is limited and only individuals associated with CRD that need to process your personal data will have access to your personal data.

1.4.2 In compliance with applicable data protection law, we will share your personal data with companies affiliated with CRD, namely Random Walk Imaging AB, Cryptlex LLC and Amie Ekonomi AB, to be able to provide you with information regarding or software protocols, and, when required for the license of the Product, issue software license keys and raise invoices, respectively. CRD uses a third party service provider, NONPI Medical AB (“NONPI”), for the development of the Product as well as managing the licensing system of the Product. To this end, NONPI processes the personal data that you submit to CRD. NONPI may not use your personal data for any other purposes than as necessary for the development of the Product.

1.4.3 Your personal data may be transferred to countries outside of EU/EEA such as the United States of America, which may have a lower level of protection than within the EU/EEA. We need to transfer your personal data in order to issue software licenses. When transferring personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA, we use standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission to ensure a sufficient level of protection for your personal data. Where deemed necessary, inter alia in relation to transfers to the United States of America, additional safeguards are put in place to guarantee an adequate protection for the personal data. 1.5 For how long will your personal data be stored?

We will store your personal data for as long as it is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected as set out in Section 1.2, whereby we will delete your personal data when such data is no longer necessary to fulfill the purposes of the processing of the personal data for which it was collected. CRD may, instead of deleting your personal data, make it anonymous such that it cannot be associated with or tracked back to you.

1.6 What are your rights?

1.6.1 CR Development AB, Reg. No 556749-5089, a Swedish company with the address Box 2050, 220 02 Lund, Sweden, is the controller of the processing of your personal data. This means that we are responsible for your personal data being processed correctly and in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable data protection laws.

1.6.2 You are entitled to know what personal data we are processing about you, and you can request a copy of such data. You are entitled to have incorrect personal data about you corrected, and in some cases you may request that we delete your personal data (if, for example, the personal data is no longer necessary in order to fulfil an agreement with you). If you have given your consent to processing of your personal data for an explicit purpose you may always withdraw your consent. If you want to withdraw your consent, you may contact us by sending an email to the address set out in Section 1.6.3 below. You also have the right to object to certain processing of your personal data, and request that the processing of your personal data be limited. Please note however, that an erasure of your personal data or a restriction of CRD’s processing of your personal data may mean that CRD will not be able to provide the Product to you. You are also entitled to extract your personal data in a machine-readable format and to transfer the personal data to another controller.

1.6.4 If you have any objections to or complaints about the way we process your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection supervisory authority.

If any changes are made concerning the processing of your personal data, we will inform you by publishing an updated version of this privacy notice on our website.
